This module teaches you how to prepare for and administer nebulizer treatment, assess peak flow and perform a spirometric test. Including both Learn and Test modes, the online simulator offers two scenarios that test your ability to either assess peak flow and perform nebulizer treatment, or perform spirometry. Practice the steps of the procedures online as often as you want, until you feel confident. This module is based on the entry-level competencies for which the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) test the Medical Assistant.

Duration is the amount of time you will receive access to your course. Durations vary by course and range between 1 month and 12 months. If you complete your course before your duration ends you will continue to have access to your course until the duration period ends.
