The CompTIA CySA+ certification is for students that have completed basic network security education or have related experience. CySA+ is a DoD 8570 baseline certification and holds its value across a variety of professions within the cybersecurity industry. Students learn how to gather and apply information gathered by analyzing indicators of malicious activity, use appropriate tools to manage and respond to attacks and vulnerabilities, perform incident response processes, and communicate vulnerability management/incident response activities. Students who complete this course and pass their exams may enter the IT workforce in several different capacities, i.e., as a threat intelligence analyst, application security analyst, and compliance analyst.

Duration is the amount of time you will receive access to your course. Durations vary by course and range between 1 month and 12 months. If you complete your course before your duration ends you will continue to have access to your course until the duration period ends.

This means that at the successful completion of your course, at no additional charge, you will receive an exam voucher for the corresponding industry certification.
